My name is Rod and I live down in south Florida. I am an avid collector of early Hot Wheels cars. I have spent the last 20-years collecting, buying, selling and trading Hot Wheels Redlines produced from the late 1960’s thru the 1970’s. I have some awesome cars in my collection and I also will consider other brands in high quality condition to include Marx, Siku, Matchbox Lesney Superfast,  Moko, Tomica, Playart, and other vintage brands.   I also purchase cast iron motorcycles and antique cars & trucks from the 1930’s thru the 1960’s.  Please see the sub-sections under my “History” page for examples of items I am always looking to acquire If you find that old collection of cars buried in the attic, hiding in the depths of a dark closet, or lost in the basement junk drawer just send me the best picture you can and I’ll make you a cash offer. Like most serious collectors, I am most interested in cars that are in near-mint to mint condition 1980 or older. This typically means just a handful of flaws that could include dull or toning paint, small paint chips (flea bites), discolored windows, wheels, or base and maybe a light scratch. However, if analyzing a very rare model most collectors are more flexible on the condition of the car. I will buy cars that are in just about any condition but ones that are heavily damaged are not worth near the value of quality cars.
